The Milwaukee County Zoo is always an interesting Zoo to go to. In the winter it is more limited by the weather, however on this January day it was a good day. There weren’t to many people out, but the outdoor birds were having a good time in the sun. The Geese, Mallard Ducks, and Swans were walking on the snow and ice patches, and swimming in the water ponds. Hope you like the panoramic photos.

These panoramic views show one of my first panoramic photos made of downtown Chicago when I was learning how to make them. I have added to it recent views of the Belmont Harbor and Lake Shore Drive after the traffic stopping snow, and a view of the Milwaukee lakefront showing familiar places.

After the first freeze and snow, the early morning sunshine sweeps across Mallard Lake at the Wehr Nature Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The air was nippy, the snow and ice were crisp, the geese were gone, and it was bone-chilling quiet in the cold. Everyone sat in their car, with the motor running, as they sipped their hot drink and watched the view. I stood in the cold and took these panoramic views. It only took a moment.
